View Inventory
ServiceVisit lets you look at your inventory without changing it. Under Inventory in the menu you can see the catalog of items you track, your locations, the stock held at each location, the ledger of recent stock movements, and the tools and equipment you track by serial number. You would use it to check what you have and where it is before you promise a part to a customer or send a technician out.
The Stock page shows, for the location you choose, how much of each item is on hand, how much is reserved, and how much is still available. The Ledger lists the most recent movements and can be narrowed to one item or one location.
Looking is separate from changing. Adding items, creating locations and recording movements are separate actions, so a person can have this one without being able to do those.
