Dispose of Stock
ServiceVisit lets you write off stock that you can no longer use. You would use it for parts that are damaged or expired, so they stop counting as stock you can send out.
You choose the item, the location and the quantity, and you can give a reason. The quantity must be greater than zero, and the location must have at least that much on hand or the request is refused. ServiceVisit reduces the on-hand balance, reduces any reservation by up to the same amount, and writes a Dispose movement to the ledger with your reason.
Disposing is different from using stock on a job, which is consuming it against a Work Order, and different from correcting a miscount, which is an adjustment. Each of those is a separate action.
