Invoice an Assessment Fee

ServiceVisit lets you bill a customer for the fee on an Assessment by generating a standalone invoice for that fee. You would use it when the visit is chargeable and you want to bill it on its own, rather than waiting for a later job to be invoiced.

The fee can be invoiced only while it is still pending, or after it has been reinstated, and not once it has already been settled, for example waived or paid. Creating the invoice moves the fee to invoiced, and ServiceVisit records the change in the fee's audit trail.

The invoice is the step between deciding the visit is chargeable and getting paid. Once the fee has been invoiced, payment is recorded against that invoice, which is a separate action. Waiving the fee is also a separate action.
