Convert an Estimate to Work Orders

Once a customer has approved an estimate, converting it turns the quote into scheduled work. Each line item on the estimate becomes a pre-filled action on a work order, and each of those actions keeps a reference back to the estimate line it came from, so you can trace the work to what the customer agreed to.

You provide the scheduling and assignment details when you convert. On an approved estimate the button is Schedule Work. Only estimates in the approved state can be converted; a draft, declined or otherwise unapproved estimate cannot.

When an estimate is approved, converting it is the next action ServiceVisit recommends. It is the bridge from the estimate and approval steps into the job itself, where technicians carry out the work.
