Edit a Service
ServiceVisit lets you change a service in your catalog after it has been created. You would use it to correct a detail, adjust what the service includes, or attach a work plan to it, including adopting one of the ready-made plans so you have your own copy to attach.
Changes apply to work booked from now on. Jobs that were already created keep what they were booked with, so editing a service does not rewrite work that is already scheduled.
You can also take a service out of use. Withdraw from catalog removes it from every place it is offered, for customers and staff alike, while work already booked against it is unaffected. A withdrawn service can be returned with Restore to catalog.
Making a service visible to customers is a separate action.
The same permission lets you change a plan, a package or an agreement while a version is still a draft. A published version is never changed: to change what you sell you create a new version, and customers who already bought keep the terms they accepted.
