Pause, Resume or Cancel Recurring Invoices

This capability lets a provider change the state of an existing recurring invoice from the Recurring page under Money. There are three actions: pause a plan, resume a paused plan, and cancel a plan.

Pausing is the way to stop a plan for a while, for example when a customer's service is on hold, and resuming puts it back to work. The page asks you to confirm before it pauses a plan. Cancelling is the final step: the confirmation warns that it cannot be undone, and a cancelled plan stays in the list under the Cancelled filter.

Changing the state of a plan is separate from setting one up. Creating a new recurring invoice is a separate action, and so is switching automatic payment on or off for a plan.
