Customer accounts

Your ServiceVisit account gives you one place to manage your interactions with the service providers you work with. Use the same sign-in across participating providers, rather than creating another account whenever you work with a different business.

Your account is ready after email confirmation

Open the confirmation link sent to your email address, then sign in. You can open that link in another browser; it does not depend on the browser you used to register. Your welcome email follows confirmation and includes an Open your account button. If you created your account through a provider's website, the welcome email names that provider at the top and confirms that you are now connected to them.

What you can do

When a provider has connected its customer record to your account and shared work with you, you can:

  • Review estimates and approve or decline them online.
  • View invoices, download copies, and make payments.
  • Follow service requests and review the information your provider shares.
  • Message your providers and keep the conversation with the work.
  • Manage your provider relationships from one account.

A new account may have no work or providers yet. That is expected. Your account shows the information you are authorized to access; registering does not create estimates, invoices, appointments, or a service agreement.

If you joined through a provider's website

The provider is the business that offers and performs service work. ServiceVisit supplies the software and your customer account. Visiting a provider's website or signing in from its account link does not automatically connect your account to that provider's customer records or give the provider access to your account.

When you create a new account through a provider's website, Create account and connect explains that your name and email address will be shared with that provider after you confirm your email. This creates a new customer record for that provider and connects it to your ServiceVisit account. It does not share unrelated property information or information about your other providers. Marketing permission remains separate and optional. Once your email is confirmed, your welcome email says You're now connected to that provider.

If the provider already has a customer record for your email, use its invitation or claim code to verify the connection before accessing existing work. Signup does not bypass that check. See Connecting Your Account to a Service Provider. If you already have a ServiceVisit account, use that account when visiting another provider's website.

Your next step

Sign in using Open your account in the welcome email. If your provider has sent an invitation, follow it to connect your work. Otherwise, you can return when you are ready to request service or when a provider shares work with you.

For account help, open Support after signing in. For questions about an estimate, appointment, invoice, or the work itself, contact the provider responsible for it.
