Cancel a Job

ServiceVisit lets you cancel a Job when the customer no longer wants the work or the request should not go ahead. You can give a reason. If you leave it blank, the Job records that it was cancelled by a provider user. ServiceVisit also records who cancelled it and when.

A Job that is already completed cannot be cancelled, and a Job that is already cancelled cannot be cancelled again. In those cases you are told why instead of the Job changing.

Cancelling a Job ends the customer's request. If you only need to stop one technician assignment, cancel that Work Order instead. If you want to pause a Job without ending it, place it on hold, which is part of editing a Job.
